Night Touched Inspirations Playlist!

Uma Thurman- Fall Out Boy

My most recent obsession. I shared just the song on this one because the video is really stupid IMO (I do not own the rights to this song in any way shape or form. No copyright infringement intended. )

17 Crimes- A.F.I. (Music/ Inspiration Friday)

One the fantastic new releases by one of my all time favorite bands, A.F.I., 17 Crimes is also featured on the soundtrack for City of Bones. Such a great song and does inspire me quite a bit

Stay the Night- Zedd ft. Hailey Willams

This is one of those songs that makes me want to write a love chapter

Turn it Off by Paramore

A song to write to

Human by Ellie Goulding

Definitely a Harper song

Tokyo (Vampires and Wolves)

Totally addicted to this song.

Writing in the Form of Music

I’m not sure if this pertains to every single author out there but I know that a lot of us have to write with some sort of music playing. It sparks feelings and emotions and we often throw a track on repeat so that we can hold on to that feeling while we write. Some of us have to listen to instrumental tracks, some of us have to listen to older music, big band, swing, (in my case) indie, pop, rock, and all of the other genres because they spark that feeling of lose, hate, lust, friendship or whatever other emotions we are trying to capture. I love finding the perfect track to get into Harper’s mindset for the different chapters, and as you can see if you go to the Playlist page I have a lot of tracks that help me.

What is your favorite genre to write to? What songs help you the most when it comes to your characters?

Music to my ears

I put up the playlist I am typically listening to when I write. There are some really stupid songs that I think only I enjoy but I hope you guys like it and listen to it!
